Settings:

  • Quality: From 8K down to audio-only
  • Codecs: h264, vp9, or av1
  • Supported Service Providers:
    • Cobalt WEB (recommended for Cobalt)
    • Cobalt API (direct download)
    • yt5s
    • ytmp3 (most stable)
    • 5smp3
    • yt1s

Tested with Violentmonkey.

⚠️ Notice:

Use Cobalt_WEB instead of Cobalt_API (public instances can run out of bandwidth or trigger bot protections), or provide your own instance.

Self-hosted Cobalt instance: (see Cobalt Docs) Just change the // @connect domain in the metadata header and the provider url in the script.
