Universal Nara Tools is a lightweight, powerful, and comprehensive userscript designed to enhance your browsing experience on any website. It combines visual enhancements, media controls, security tools, and productivity features into a single, elegant floating interface.

Key Features

Visual & Interface

• Smart Visual Web (Dark Mode): Intelligently inverts colors to create a dark mode on any website, saving your eyes at night.
• Media Tools (Image Filters): Customize the web's look with real-time sliders for Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, and Sepia.
• Clean View (Aggressive & Smarter): Removes sticky headers, floating ads, popups, and overlays that clutter your screen. Now runs on a MutationObserver instead of constant polling, and uses a content heuristic (word count / link density) before hiding ambiguous elements like sidebars or "related" sections — so real content is far less likely to get hidden by mistake.
• Fullscreen Mode: Toggle full-screen immersion with a single click.
• Unified Visual Language: The Translate trigger, its Settings gear, and the main menu gear icon now share the same card style as the Dashboard (Time/Date/IP Loc) for a more cohesive look.

Productivity & Utility

• Instant Countdown (Improved): Bypasses annoying wait timers by dilating the page's clock (not just spamming setInterval), so pages that cross-check elapsed real time are far less likely to flag it as tampering. Also now works inside same-origin iframes, where most "wait X seconds" gates actually live. No longer depends on Firefox-only APIs, so it works correctly on Chrome-based browsers too.
• Auto Scroll: Automatically scroll down long pages/articles with adjustable speed.
• Dashboard Info: Displays real-time Clock, Date, and your current IP Location.

• The dashboard now shows just the country code (e.g. ID) to keep things clean.
• Tap once to force-refresh (VPN-friendly). Tap twice to open a small detail popup with the full country name, IP address, region, ISP/organization, and timezone.

Video & Media Controller

• Universal Speed Control: Speed up or slow down HTML5 videos/audio on any site (Unfortunately, it still doesn't work for Youtube) from 0.1x to 5.0x. Now applied event-driven (on play/loadedmetadata/ratechange) instead of polling every second, so it's lighter on pages with a lot of media.
• Picture-in-Picture (PiP): Force enable PiP mode for videos to watch while multitasking.

Security & Privacy

• Copy/Paste Bypass: Re-enable the right-click menu, text selection, and copy/paste on sites that block them. Now locks the blocking properties directly instead of polling to clear them every couple of seconds.
• Link Sanitizer: Automatically removes tracking parameters (e.g., utm_source, fbclid, gclid) from URLs for cleaner sharing and better privacy.

Translation (Rebuilt)

• Two translation engines, your choice:

• Google Translate (default): Free, fast, zero setup — works out of the box for everyone.
• LLM API Key (optional): Bring your own key from OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Groq (presets included, so you only need to paste a key — no need to hand-type endpoints or model names), or point it at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint manually.

How to Use

1. Install the script.
2. Look for the Floating Button (Gear Icon) in the bottom-right corner of any website.
3. Click to open the Nara Tools Menu.
4. Toggle features on/off. Feature toggles are saved per-website; theme, opacity, and Translate/API settings are saved globally across all sites.
5. Drag the menu or button to reposition them anywhere on the screen.

Customization

• Themes: Choose from Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, Purple, or pick your own Custom Color.
• Opacity: Adjust the transparency of the menu.
• Draggable UI: The menu and button remember their position.
• Translate Engine: Pick Google Translate or your own LLM API key from the Translate Settings popup.

Installation

Click the green "Install this script" button above. Requires a userscript manager like Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, or Greasemonkey.

Note for existing users: this update adds new @grant permissions (GM_setValue, GM_getValue, GM_listValues, GM_deleteValue) so your settings can sync across sites. Your userscript manager needs to fully reinstall/update the script (not just an in-place edit) for the new permissions to take effect.
