Z.ai updated their UI to route all new conversations through agent mode and removed the message edit button, but the original layout and features are still in the frontend bundle. When the site loads, it calls /api/config. If the response contains features.unified_agent = true, the client hides the standard chat layout and enables agent mode.

This script intercepts the /api/config response to set unified_agent to false, restoring the original sidebar layout with the separate Chat and Agents tabs and their respective New Chat and New Task buttons. It also strips the agent flags from /chats/<id> responses to bring back the message edit button (with the side effect of also working on any tasks in Agent mode). Existing chat threads at /c/<id> continue to load normally.
