რეზიუმე: Shows a box with their name over every other player, even through walls, and turns it green for a few seconds right after they respawn. Hold the right mouse button to auto-aim at the nearest player you can see. A ring around your crosshair shows a line pointing toward every player, even ones behind you. Everything is smoothed so it moves cleanly instead of jittering.

KTool

KTool is a browser script that gives you extra awareness and aim help while playing. You install it once as a userscript, and it runs quietly in the background while you play the game normally.

What it shows you

Boxes over every other player. Even if a wall or an object is between you and them, you'll see a box around their character with their name above it. This works no matter where they are on the map, as long as they're in the match.

A quick heads-up when someone respawns. Right after a player comes back from being killed, their box turns green for a few seconds. After that, it goes back to its normal red color. This gives you a simple way to tell "this player just came back" from "this player has been playing for a while."

A ring around your crosshair with lines pointing at everyone. In the middle of your screen, right around your crosshair, there's a small ring. From that ring, a line stretches out toward every player currently in the match — even the ones behind you that you can't see. If a player is somewhere off to the side or behind you, the line points in their direction and stops at the edge of your screen, like a little compass. The lines are colored the same way as the boxes: red for normal players, green for players who just respawned.

Auto-aim

Hold down the right mouse button, and your view will automatically turn toward the nearest player you can currently see on screen. Let go of the right mouse button and it stops immediately — you're back in full control.

A few things about how it behaves:

  • It picks whichever visible player is closest to your crosshair, not necessarily the closest in the world.
  • If there's a choice between a normal (red) player and one who just respawned (green), it always prefers the normal one — respawned players are assumed to still be catching their breath, so they're not worth aiming at yet.
  • The turning is smooth rather than snapping instantly onto the target, so it doesn't feel jerky or robotic.
  • It only works while your view is actually locked into the game (i.e. not while a menu is open).

Smooth, steady movement

All the boxes move smoothly on screen instead of shaking or jumping around, even while you're moving your mouse quickly or your character is walking. The tool automatically figures out how much to smooth things out from moment to moment: when nothing much is changing, it holds everything steady and calm; when there's real fast movement (like a quick turn), it keeps up with it instead of lagging behind. The goal is that you never notice it lagging, and you never notice it shaking — it should just look right.

Things worth knowing

  • Everything is visual and aiming help only — it doesn't change how the game works for anyone else, and nothing is sent anywhere except to your own screen.
  • The tool needs to "see" the game running before anything shows up, so there may be a brief moment after loading into a match before boxes and lines appear.
  • A player who is standing completely still for a long time (rather than moving around) may take a little while to show up, simply because the tool learns where players are from their movement.
  • Some behind-the-scenes numbers that control feel (like how fast the auto-aim turns, or how smooth the boxes look) are adjustable, but they come with sensible defaults out of the box — most people won't need to touch anything.
