SoundCloud True Shuffle

SoundCloud's built-in shuffle can repeat tracks too often or leave large parts of a playlist unheard. True Shuffle creates and manages its own randomized queue so every available track plays once before a new round begins.

Features

  • True round-based shuffle
  • Every track plays once before the queue is regenerated
  • More balanced shuffle order for small playlists
  • One-click re-shuffle without reloading the page
  • Queue and playback history sidebar
  • Search, reorder, remove, or play tracks next
  • Cross-playlist queue support
  • Persistent listening statistics
  • Per-track priority controls
  • Frequently skipped tracks can be automatically deprioritized
  • Sleep timer
  • Stop after the current round
  • Draggable and resizable player
  • Dynamic artwork colors and track waveforms
  • Support for playlists, likes, tracks, reposts, and the SoundCloud Feed

How to use

  1. Open a supported SoundCloud playlist or collection.
  2. Wait for the True Shuffle player to appear.
  3. Click Start True Shuffle.
  4. Use the queue button to view and manage upcoming tracks.
  5. Click the shuffle icon in the player header whenever you want to re-shuffle the remaining queue.

When Stop after this round is disabled, a fresh queue is automatically created after every track has played once.

Queue controls

  • Click a track to play it.
  • Use Play Next to move a track directly behind the currently playing track.
  • Drag tracks to rearrange the queue.
  • Search the queue without losing your current filter after making changes.
  • Switch between the Queue and History tabs.
  • Use the + button to add tracks from another playlist.

Notes

SoundCloud changes its interface regularly. If something stops working, please leave a detailed report including:
