🎸 Songsterr Companion

Adds four things to Songsterr:

  • GP7 export — download the current tab as a native Guitar Pro 7 (.gp) file
  • MIDI export — download the current tab as a .mid file
  • YouTube audio-only toggle — hide the video player, keep the audio
  • Autoscroll fix — stops Songsterr from silently disabling native tab autoscroll

Credits

パプリカ (Paprika) wrote the original YouTube Audio-Only Mode and Autoscroll fix scripts. Both are integrated here, with a persistent on/off toggle and a UI button added on top of the YouTube one.

How it works

GP7/MIDI export reads the song's metadata from the page, then fetches each track's notation data straight from Songsterr's public CDN — the same data your browser already loads to render the tab, so nothing account- or login-related is touched.

Debugging

Logging is off by default. Open the browser console on songsterr.com and run:

window.toggleSgdLogging()

Run it again to turn it back off.

Changelog

v1.0.0 — Initial release. Forked from Songsterr Ultimate v6.0.1, keeping only GP7/MIDI export, the YouTube audio-only toggle, and the autoscroll fix. All Plus-paywall-bypass code was removed.
